We had a fabulous time when we stayed in the old schoolhouse. We brought our children skiing ⛷️ for their 1st time at Glenshee Ski resort.A great destination for beginners to learn. Everyone was so helpful, positive and encouraging.The house was only a 10minute drive away. The house was warm, pristine, welcoming, spacious and luxurious. We all slept really well and got a great rest in the evenings. Our host was very attentive and responded immediately to any questions. However I would advise anyone with very young children that a stairgate would be necessary due to the stairs. Our children did not need this. They enjoyed the board games and the movie room was very relaxing.There was a lovely log fire in the library which was very comforting. A wonderful place to get away from it all walk, ski, sleep, rest unwind. Take care all the best. Gráinne

Great house in a beautiful part of Scotland. Views from the house are amazing, especially from the ceiling-high windows! The house has been tastefully modernized whilst retaining its charm and is super-comfortable. Host very helpful and responsive. We had a wonderful week here in early January, would definitely come again, highly recommended!

Five stars. Host is responsive, helpful, and kind — as is the neighbor who assists as a handyman. The home is pleasantly free of clutter, which is uncommon in airbnbs. It is well appointed with modern appliances inside, plus rustic stone on the home’s outside. The views are great. The heating is superb. No worries about getting cold. The house retains its heat. It’s a benefit that the home was renovated recently. The host’s guidebook had helpful recommendations. Guests benefit from the hosts learned experience hosting past guests and building best practices.

We had a wonderful weekend at Andrew’s. From my initial contact Andrew was extremely responsive and helpful. The location of the house was perfect for visiting Braemar and Pitlochry. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and clean. Views were beautiful. Will definitely stay again
