This lovely home offers your family a wonderful opportunity to have an exclusive, private vacation with many amenities (movie room, hot tub, private beach, firepit) on site as well as proximity to additional activities (multiple public children's playgrounds, Point pleasant and Seaside boardwalks, Ocean beaches, etc). Six Flags, safari is within an hour's dirve as well as Diggerland, so lots of day trips available also. A wonderful homemade ice cream parlor is a 2 minute drive and supermarkets and major chain stores are within a 10 minute drive. In short, this location offers everything a family would need for an extended stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Our hosts were incredibly prompt with answering any questions. The house was as described, downstairs was very open, and we LOVED the movie room. We also used the hot tub each day and loved that it was so big. Our host also reached out to check on how our week was the day after our trip. They were very cordial and accommodating.

Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed Ted’s house. We comfortably fit 5 adults and 5 kids ages 4-9. The property is beautifully kept, and the private beach front on the river is very private and relaxing. Had everything we needed including kayak’s, volleyball, lounge chairs, and a net for crabbing! The hot tub is awesome! Big enough for kids to swim in and has the feature to use as an exercise/lap pool. Sitting in the hot tub with views of the waterfront is the best! The house was sparkling clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels available. The movie room is a great bonus, and the views from the master and two of the bedrooms are breathtaking. The third floor bedroom/office with desk was perfect for working from home without being disturbed. The house is a quick ride to the state park where you can hike and catch some ocean waves. We are looking forward to another chance to visit!

The place was Perfect for us and our teenage kids and my mom- all of whom are not easily placated! :) We had our own private beach and enough to do so that we really never needed to leave, though when we did, the beach is easy to get to and there are stores for everything. We loved the kayaks, the hot tub, the volleyball set up, and we had an amazing view from the deck, of boats, fireworks and just tranquility. The movie room is very cool and also entertained us. DoorDash and GrubHub delivers easily and there are some good restaurants. There is a grill as well, but we didn’t feel like cooking. The town itself is quaint and quiet and the locals are friendly.- very serene versus the very crowded (even during a pandemic) beach areas. If you do go to the beach, Island Beach State Park was lovely and had a restaurant and bar. Easy parking and only $6 for the whole car of us. Most of the bedrooms are large and have great views. There are also a lot of amenities (tons of towels, for one) and you really shouldn’t need much. The a/c and WiFi were also great. I highly recommend!

The place is amazingly beautiful! Ted is very responsive to emails and questions as well and very accommodating! This house has everything you’ll need from tons of nice quality shower and beach towels, beach chairs, kayak and umbrellas. The view from the kitchen ,bedrooms and patio is truly breathtaking. The kids loved the huge projection TV and we all loved again,the huge hot tub overlooking the water.You can choose to cook from the nice kitchen, it has everything you’ll need or there’s a lot of places close by to pick up food from. And although this place is only a few minutes drive to the boardwalk and public beach, the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed our morning walks.We truly enjoyed our week long stay and very much recommend this vacation place!
