A really cosy and homely cottage with really comfortable beds. Good communication from John our host and owner of the Moss Inn pub. The Moss Inn home cooked food was incredible in taste and portions. 4 clean plates from us. The cask ale was also great and all reasonably priced. We then only had a very short walk back to the cottage. Although Sunniside is quiet with no shops, it is not too far from either Crook or Tow Law to stock up. A really good central location that we will most definitely come back to.

Great communication from the start. We used as a base for a visit to Beamish museum. 2 adults and 2 kids. Exactly what we were after. Great little cottage renovated to a excellent standard. Would have loved yo have stayed longer to explore the area a bit more and visit the local pub which the owner also has. All in all fantastic. Thank you :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Johns place was so comfortable and enough space for us as a family, brilliant location and easy to find things to do within half hour drive of the place.

This house was beautiful, looks exaclty like the pictures, had a nice cottage feel to the place. Very clean, loads of open space as well. All the amenities you need as well. We had a small issue with the hot water, but John was great, he replied very quickly and sorted the issue out very fast as well. Would 100% stay here again!!
