We stayed at Dukes Farm as we had a wedding to attend locally, we were also treating it as our baby’s first holiday. On arrival we couldn’t help but notice how clean the accommodation was, I’m talking not a speck of dust! The view from the property was incredible, you could easily stay here and not need to leave the property at all. There’s a lovely area outside to eat and enjoy a few drinks, looking over a small vineyard, with access to beautiful walks and areas to sit and enjoy the hills in the distance. Photos really don’t do the views justice! The building itself is beautifully renovated, the beds were extremely comfy, and I would say to 5* hotel standard. The accommodation is on a working farm, which is amazing for children (think chickens, tractors, wildlife), we loved staying somewhere that clearly had a history and strong connection to the land. Ruth, Grace and the family were incredibly accommodating, we were provided with a cot for our baby, tips on what to do locally, and were always on hand if we needed anything. We arrived late and managed to leave late too (new baby!) but felt as if it was no problem for them whatsoever. We came for a holiday and left feeling incredibly rested, with amazing memories and hopes of making it a yearly trip as a new family!

We had a lovely stay in The Granary, the cottage is delightful and perfect for tucking up by the fire after long walks in the beautiful surroundings. Our hosts Ruth and Grace were very friendly and had equipped the accommodation with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and come back!

We had a great time at The Granary… it was a perfect bolt hole for a long weekend. Stunning views and really friendly hosts. The kids loved feeding the chickens (Bond and Minty) and playing in the games room. Great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons.

Grace and Ruth are really lovely hosts and have beautifully sympathetically renovated their 16th century self contained properties on their farm, set amongst stunning views of the Black Mount. Really comfy beds and a table and chairs to eat at outside, with a nice garden facing the beautiful view. for Would thoroughly recommend staying.
