A great location at a great price! As mentioned in some other reviews the place is under construction and the rooms lack heating/AC so you don’t have much control over the temperature, but for the price, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was not terrible but not amazing. If you are not picky and just need a place to sleep and shower, this is a good place for you. It is located right in union square, so very central to everything. They let us check in early for no charge. We stayed in room 710. The hallways were being renovated, so there was a tarp on top of the whole hallway and workers doing drilling and painting (which was ok since they stopped in the evenings, but aesthetically it was a little surprising/ a turn off). Our room did not look like the pictures, it ended up being a newly renovated room so it was much nicer, very clean. However, the room is TINY. No room for walking around besides getting up from the bed to go to the bathroom. you can hear your neighbors through the window during the day, but we didn’t have a problem with noisy neighbors at night. Our window faced a wall. No issues with heat, we turned the radiator all the way down (heat turns on for the hotel twice a day) and kept our window open at night and ceiling fan on and the temperature was completely fine, we went the 2nd week of February. The hotel does not have AC. Overall, the room was clean, just extremely small. If u don’t mind that, or staying in a hotel that has no frills whatsoever, it is a good budget hotel.

The Airbnb listing is a little ambiguous; this is an actual hotel, with a front desk, and currently is undergoing renovation. So there’s no “check-in” with a host in advance; just show up. There’s always someone at the desk, 24/7. Other reviews were correct – rooms are tiny, but enough for 1 (barely 2), and are clean. My room was quite warm, and there’s no real control over that, as it is radiator heat, and even opening the window didn’t bring a breeze on the second floor. But there is a ceiling fan. Walls are a little thin, but not bad. The bed seemed pretty new and felt great. Location is outstanding. There were more amenities in my room than were listed – a hair drier and an iron were both in the room when I arrived. It also had a sizable (2’x3’?) desk and desk lamp. I’m noting all of this because the listing is pretty bare on these points, and doesn’t reflect how good of a value this place is. It definitely serves the purpose, for an impossible price, if you just need a clean, safe place to stay.
