This place is a diamond in the rough. We are from that area, but we never knew how much fun could be had so close to home. It has zip lining, kayaking, cozy little cabin with a fire pit, we absolutely loved it and will definitely be back in the summer.

I suggest you call the host and have her email you the list of rules. Their were only two rules when I booked, children under 16 needed to wear a life jacket and you need to sign a waiver. The waiver is a front and back document full of rules they give you a check in. Which at that time it’s pretty late for you to back out without losing your money and trying to find and alternative at the last minute. Otherwise the cabin and area is great and kids had a lot of fun. A lot of miscommunications happened and ruined my son birthday gathering. Also cannot use the water obstacles if they’ve booked tours. You have to come back into the cabin every time they have a tour. One of many rules not specified in the booking.

Our family had an AMAZING time here. Positives- entertaining for all ages, all the fun is right outside your door, you can watch everyone from the rocking chair on the front porch, the people are so nice and accommodating, and the cabin was comfortable. We grilled burgers outside the cabin while watching the rest of the family playing in the water and fishing. Things helpful to know- the cabin is very small, but we spent most of outdoors, so it was totally fine! We brought games for bad weather. Debbie left some breakfast items for us in the freezer and on the table basket, which was a nice touch. The fridge is not large, so bring a cooler full of ice to keep additional items. Upon arrival, I was expecting to be on a lake, but it felt like more of a very large pond. The location is not on Lake of the Pines (about 10 minutes away). I didn't realize the price increases $35/person/night, so that was a surprise when we booked. Be sure to take charcoal and lighter fluid if you plan to use the grill. Bring your own towels. Overall, our family felt like it was worth it- loads of fun for the whole family. From AirBnb, it's hard to see all you get...go to their web site to see all the activities and more pictures. Our family hopes to go back at some point to enjoy another weekend of fun and laughter together. No one was bored at all over the weekend. My 10 y/o daughter asked if we could stay 4 more days. This place is much more than just a place to stay- it's all the entertainment you'll need!

Great place to relax, connect with nature and enjoy family time. I loved the privacy and our children had a great time doing outdoor activities in a safe place.
