Hola! We're Bastin and Debbie, originally from Holland. After many trips both inside and outside of Europe we we're caught by the travel bug. In 2011 we took the leap and moved to Nicaragua. After exploring each corner of the country we settled in the lively beach town San Juan del Sur. We've stayed at several long term rental places but finally decided we wanted a place of our own. We purchased a beautiful piece of land, tucked away in the hills of Congo Hills. With a lot of love and patience we built our own house as well as a rental unit on the same property, In 2017 the Jungalow opened its doors for visitors. What we love about San Juan del Sur? ~ the nearby surfing beaches ~ the laid-back vibe of the town ~ going on a zipline tour ~ exploring the Pacific on a sunset boat ride ~ zipping a coffee or smoothie in one of the many restaurants or on our beautiful porch :) ~ relaxing at one of the many pools in the area ~ trying different foods at the many restaurants you find in and around San Juan del Sur ~ Fight club gym; a very affordable gym with a variety of classes like bootcamp, crosfit and jijitsu. ~ and mucho mas!
