Initially we booked this place thinking it would be a great alternative to Bristol City Centre accommodation. We anticipated travelling into the city daily. Our first day, those initial ideas went out of the window. The surrounding area far exceeded expectations. The marina in Portishead has some great eateries! We popped to some delicious dog friendly restaurants, bought sourdough from the bakery, had awesome coffee and cake, and some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. We popped to Clevedon too and really enjoyed our time there too. We only spent one day in Clifton, as well as some time walking the dog at Ashton Court. The property itself also exceeded expectations. It’s wholly apparent that this is someone’s home, rather than simply a rental. The kitchen is great, the living room comfortable, and probably the most comfortable beds I’ve had in an Airbnb. The views are stunning! The dog enjoyed the garden. Neighbours are friendly too. Would definitely stay again!

Myself, Jane and our little dogs once again had the most wonderful stay at Sue’s house, this is our third visit and every time it excels, Sue is a great host, there is everything you need for a relaxing stay in a beautiful home in a lovely surrounding, I would thoroughly recommend this property and host for your next trip.

This was our second visit having been blown away after the first, and was once again blown away, we couldn't wait to come back and visit, Susan is a great host, the house is amazing, the walks are beautiful along the waterfront to a beautiful Pub/Restaurant called the Windmill. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anybody wanting a peaceful break in a beautiful house with stunning views and absolutely pet friendly, Well done Susan and thank you, we will be back. We had a lovely time staying for Christmas. We loved being able to see the estuary and watching the wildlife in the garden. All was very comfortable, clean, and cosy. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for what we needed. Thank you for such a great stay!
