A great house for a family! The kitchen has everything you could want for cooking anything (even a waffle maker!). The open plan of the dining, living room area was a beautiful space with a spectacular view where we spent most of our time. We had a great time!

This is a wonderful house! With all the fees and in high season, it is expensive but it is also a superb, lovely house. NW Island Escape, the managing agency that handles island homes, is very responsive and professional. The house was immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. Instructions were clear and thorough. They asked to know for a report if anything was broken and we immediately informed them of two minor problems that did not impact our stay. The house is close to East Sound but feels very secluded, even with neighbors. The view is spectacular. I would definitely return here, although would probably opt for shoulder season, given the cost. A truly beautiful house and setting that we enjoyed thoroughly!

Orcas Island is a beautiful place and this is a gorgeous house to stay in while visiting the island. It is set beautifully on a very private lot with a great view of the East Sound and the village. The house itself is very well-appointed, very well furnished and takes full advantage of nature and the views (big windows everywhere). The furnishing is modern, stylish and very comfortable. It was perfect of a family of 4 - plenty of space and privacy for the adults. For two families it may be a bit tight since two of the bedrooms are right next to each other and smallish. The host is very responsive and very prompt and professional. The location on the island is quite strategic - short drive to the village where the grocery store and some restaurants are (Eastsound) and it is about 20 minutes at the most from the ferries. It is about 20 minute drive to Moran State park (must visit). A very minor note - you will not have easy access to the water but that was not an issue for us. There is one picture implying a small beach but this property does not have access to that beach. Of course on Orcas, you can find access to the water in many other places so did not miss that.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possible need to dine in. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed. It’s a very comfortable and cozy home. The information on the home was all accurate and very informative. The outside was gorgeous! And of course the views are incredible! We would definitely book here again!
