Overall this place was very secluded which me and my girlfriend enjoyed. Very quiet and the amenities were fantastic. The Cottage is very much on the back roads so just take caution when driving to get there, but once we were settled in we loved the place. It was very clean, easy to find and get into. There wasn’t a bunch to do, but there is a couple restaurants that were lovely. It’s a great place to stay with your significant other for any special occasion, or even just a weekend to get away from all the noise. The only complaint I had really was that there was these pretty drapes over the bed which were nice, but when taking a closer look you could see there is a significant amount of dead bugs up there. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a loved one.

Having grown up in this rural area, I didn’t expect to find an AirBnB nearby, so this was a great surprise when I returned to the area to visit my dad. This cottage was less than a mile from my destination. The house was clean and pleasantly decorated. We especially appreciated the full selection of Keurig cups, the granola bars, and chocolates! The bed was huge and comfortable. The rocking chairs on the front porch were perfect to enjoy the symphony of birds singing a melody to accompany the harmony of the creek babbling nearby! Two cautions when selecting this cottage: First, the staircase to the bedroom is steep and narrow. It was challenging for my wife to access due to mobility limitations. With the only bathroom being downstairs, it was not convenient for her to go up and down the stairs. Second, the low slanted ceiling upstairs caught my head a few times and wrenched my neck. Don’t let this detract from your interest in this property—just be careful if you’re tall!

The owner was quick to respond to the couple small issues we had. He also gave us great recommendations for authentic food in the area.
