If, like us, you enjoy countryside and coast then Charlie's Place could be the perfect place for you. Our pretty, traditional Northumberland cottage is in the historic village of Belford. The Northumberland Way is on our doorstep and beaches and castles galore are only a few minutes drive away. Our cottage is positioned a couple of minutes stroll from the village centre and has wonderful views of open countryside from the garden. website (Website hidden by Airbnb) We have been welcoming guests to our lovely cottage for over 14 years and our guest book comments describe it as a 'delightful, home from home', 'welcoming', 'cosy', 'pretty' and somewhere that guests want to return to - which is want we hoped to create when we first found our own special piece of Northumberland to share with others. The lounge is filled with sunshine in the morning and is beautifully cosy at night. We have complimentary maps and books about the area for you to browse and choose where you are going to visit each day. Our dining table is in the lounge and there is space for a morning coffee in the kitchen - while watching the birds in the garden. The bedrooms offer silent retreats at the end of busy days of sightseeing and you should only be woken by birds singing and the sun peeping in behind the blind. We have a travel cot and high chair available if you need them. Our kitchen is brand new for 2018 - we are very excited for the new launch! It has everything you need for a self-catering stay and we provide complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Our bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath. The garden has amazing countryside views and is a wonderfully peaceful place to eat al fresco in summer. We added a summerhouse in 2016 from which some amazing sunsets can regularly be watched - not to mention our incredible star filled skies!
