房主人很nice，给我们准备了小罐牛奶。木屋有很严重的潮味。晚上莫名其妙停电冻了一晚上。

We were travelling with three children. Although the place only accommodates four people, Marilyn was very flexible to allow us to stay at her place as one of our children is less than one year old and still sleeps with us. The place completely meet our expectations and needs. The location is excellent, right in the middle of north part of NC500. It was next to a field filled with lambs which our children enjoyed watching. We strongly recommend considering this place for a stay while visiting the North of Scotland.

We had a great stay at this quiet, cosy chalet. Has a nice sitting area facing the sun. Five minute walk to a lovely beach and one minute from pub/restaurant. Good heaters with useful temperature control. Shower works well. Useful washing line in garden which has the bonus of chickens. We got a good 4g signal here, but the Wi-Fi wasn’t the best. Marilyn is a great host which added to a lovely holiday. Would recommend and happily stay again.

We had a perfect stay in the highlands right next to beautiful Melvich beach. The cottage was ideally located for a trip over to Durness and the surrounding attractions around Thurso. We stayed with the two kids and our dog. We had everything we needed and the place was warm and cosy in the evening. The guide books Marylin left were really good with lots of detail about our surroundings and historical facts that we would have otherwise missed. Melvich and Strathy beach are other worldly and we would love to return in the spring, although watching the massive waves from storm Babet was very dramatic! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Marilyn and her husband were both really friendly and helpful, the property is comfortable and very reasonably priced, overall good value for the money.
