Booking was very straightforward and messages were answered promptly. The cottage is very comfortable, including the furniture and beds. The dishwasher works really well. Plenty of hot water! The view to the front is spectacular and there are many beautiful beaches a sort drive away. People in the village were very welcoming and friendly. Owners son and daughter in law live next door and we're helpful and responsive when contacted. The road outside is mainly very quiet. The local shop is expensive, many items double supermarket prices. The little local cafe is very nice. It's not open on Monday and Tuesday though. The nearest pub is a short drive away and serves brilliant fish and chips!

Stayed here for a week Fabulous place, has everything you will need. Greeted by Claire who was so helpful and gave some great food & activity recommendations Stayed with 2 teenagers and 2 dogs, the surrounding beaches are absolutely amazing We loved our staycation.

A fantastic holiday rental home in a lovely location. Claire was so helpful and friendly. House is amazingly well equipped for a family holiday, we are a family of 6. There are really thoughtful touches that really made our holiday, even down to the hose outside to wash down wetsuits, surf boards etc and a toothbrush in the bathroom (our son forgot his!!!) Lovely takeaway pizzas from the pub down the road and a meal at a truly brilliant Tapas restaurant in Scrabster. We also did an overnight trip to Orkney during the holiday which I highly recommend if you can squeeze it in! Highlights of the holiday were lots of great surfing and body boarding on local beaches, particularly Melvich and Farr. Biking trails near Forsinard and Tongue. The beaches near Tongue are also gorgeous. Brilliant holiday. Thanks
