We had a wonderful time at Barbara's home in Venice. The location was on a square that had many restaurants and markets (seafood, grocery), and was a quick 10-minute walk to many attractions (St. Mark's Square, Rialto Bridge, etc.). The apartment is up one flight of stairs, which were easy pretty easy for the two seniors in our group. The 3 bedrooms share 2 bathrooms, which are not ensuite - making it easy to have access to bathrooms for all. It was nice to be away from the masses of people in Venice's tourist areas. Barbara provided excellent instructions to give water taxi driver (15-minute journey), and she met us to walk us over to her home. She provided three sets of keys and plenty of coffee, bread, butter, and juice for breakfast. Barbara also provided plenty of recommendations for activities and restaurants. Will definitely stay at Barbara's home on our next visit to Venice.

Why can’t every host be like Barbara? She answered a million questions, arranged for a water taxi and met us and just was such a pleasure to speak with. The place? Immaculate condition that looked like the photos. Comfy beds and a lovely living room. Total gem. The neighborhood. Think I’m in love? Cafes galore, amazing Cicchetti, a supermarket, close to valparetto and many of the museums. Maybe my favorite airbnb?

Look, Barbara is probably the best AirBnb host I’ve met in my decade-ish of using the service. She is proactive, helpful and kind. She functions more as a Venice concierge than a mere host. Amazing!

We loved this apartment so much!! It is beautiful just like the pictures and in such a fun area of Venice! Barbara was extremely helpful and gave us lots of recommendations. She also picked us up from the train station to walk us to the apartment. She had snacks and waters waiting for us too. We can’t wait to go back someday and highly highly recommend staying here!!

Barbara was amazing and the home was wonderful. Nothing to complain about. She also met us at the train station and escorted to the home in a water taxi. I was very impressed. When we needed to store luggage for another 2 hours, she accommodated us. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Thanks
