Jason's house is very well located, close to the train station, the beach and the centre of Brighton. The neighbourhood is pleasant and beautiful. Jason is a nice guy!

I didn't meet Jason, as he was mostly out on the weekend of my visit. As a single traveller it was important for me that I felt safe in the space. The flat was rather small and quite cold when I arrived, but the bed itself was heated and the heating could be turned on. The bathroom was simple and clean, the kitchen had a dirty pan that I washed so that I could use it to make breakfast (as Jason wasn't home, there was no breakfast provided, but I could cook and there was coffee and a french press). The flat is in the basement, so not too much light got in, and I didn't use the garden at all, because in March it wasn't warm enough yet. The flat was easy to find, Jason gave me directions via voice message which I personally don't like because I had to re-listen to the whole thing, I prefer written instructions. But he sent pictures as well which was helpful. Overall OK experience, a bit pricey but that's normal in the area. Sadly I didn't meet the cat.
