Thanks once again for your hospitality and sharing such a special place with us. We didn’t realise how much we need a quiet hide away to rest and reset. Loved getting back to basics and nature but loved the luxury features too!

The Yurt is pitched on the side of a hill amongst beautiful bush and wildlife, with a view of the nearby town and the sea in the distance - in the morning you get woken up by the most amazing sunrises and native bird life song. The wood burner inside keeps you toasty warm during the cooler nights. You truly feel at one with nature in this place, which has a big emphasis on sustainability. Much of the furniture has been handmade beautifully and every little detail thought of. It truly is a place to relax, unwind and contemplate. Thanks for sharing this magical place and experience with us.

Staying at the yurt was one of the highlights of our roadtrip around the South Island! Waking up to the sunrise in the morning and relaxing on the deck, in the comfy bean bag chairs, looking at the view was just perfect. The driveway up to the yurt is pretty steep and windy but they sent us very clear instructions so we knew exactly where we were going. Showering outside in the dark took a bit of getting use to but was all part of the experience.

Absolutely beautiful spot and a fun and unique stay - loved the outdoor shower, watching the stars from the deck and cosy log fire inside the yurt!
