It was so nice to spend four nights in Cill Chiaráin. Mícheál's cottage is situated in a beautiful, rural location with Shetland ponies in the garden. The house is comfortable with a wood-burning stove. While we had an issue with the shower and central heating, we were most impressed with our host's prompt response. A plumber was called and we returned home that evening to a warm house. My friends and I hope to make a return to Connemara in the not-too-distant future. Míle buíochas, Mícheál

Thanks Mícheál again for having us! During our stay the heating didn't work but Mícheál reacted immediately and got us electronical heating which was totally fine. The views are amazing.

Un excellent accueil, tout a été parfait, logement incroyable, literie confortable, coin pour le feu, extérieur au top, frigo plein, produits d'entretien etc.. Un hôte Airbnb +++

if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful traditional cottage with great views and a peat burner fireplace, idyllic garden with waterfalls, ponies and sheep, very warm and welcoming hosts that are ready to help you with everything you need, then look no further. This place is wonderful. We only stayed for a few days. My recommendation would be to stay as long as you can.

We loved our stay at Michael’s cottage in the heart of gorgeous Connemara! Next to a lively brook and friendly ponies with a highly ranked Gastropub just down the road. Michael was a gracious host and gave us some good suggestions of things to do and told us some history of the area. We hope to return for another stay!
