位置离间歇泉约20分钟，离黄金瀑布也非常近。去维克黑沙滩2个多小时，离首都一个多小时，位置是很便利的。房东会提前告诉我们在首都购买好想要买的东西，物价上会比较有优势。这栋房子是附近小木屋里最漂亮的一幢。

This is not just an incredible property its an beautifull home. From the description and photographs of the property i could tell that it was someones well loved home. It exceeded my expectations, and had a spectacular view. The location is ideal, with just a short drive to the Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. Due to concerns about incoming bad weather i enquired with Jonina about staying an additional night which i am very grateful that she was able to accommodate us for, as the next morning we awoke to snow and high winds. Jonina was very responsive and accommodating. My family an i both agree that this is the best place we stayed in Iceland as we felt at home, and we would have stayed longer if we could have. Unfortunately we missed the Northern lights on this trip but we hope to return one day and catch them whilst enjoying the hot tub.
Perfectly located with lots of beautiful spots within a 20 km radius
We spend 4 days in Jonina's house. The house is very nicely decorated, with a lot of personal touch. There are 2 bedrooms with god quality beds and linen. The bathroom is very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to prepare the meal. There is also hot tub with natural hot water for you to relax after a day of hike. Jonina was great host. She reply on all our questions very quickly and make us feel like in our home. We would recommend this house and come back

I am a 50 year old woman that lives in Hafnarfjordur suburb of Reykjavik. I have three sons 15, 17 and 23 years old. I am a country girl as I was raised up at Uthlid where the cottage is located. There are my roots and I love this place and highly recommend it to everybody who are traveling around the Golden Circle. In summer 2021 I set up a new hot tub also with great view so you can enjoy the stay even better in the cottage. You can get the keys at the reception in the restaurant,Rettin nearby that is owned by my family. There is also a service center that you can contact if something comes up. You can always send me a message or call me.
