What a find this was in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors!The location is perfect for exploring with Castle Howard and York within a short driving distance.There is a myriad of local walks to chose from -perfect for dog walkers.Karen is such a kind and accommodating host who has created a special haven in both The Garden Shed and Next door.Everything from a delicious welcome pack ,local maps ,dog blankets and dog treats made us feel so welcome.Wish our stay was for longer and hope to return soon again.

The Garden Shed was a wonderful weekend away and we couldn’t have had a better mini break. The accommodation was beautiful and homely, the grounds were great for our golden retriever and Karen is so passionate about hosting and her company and it truly shows. We had an outdoor fire, used the wood burning stove and a visit to York centre with some great recommendations. We also did some local walks and visited some sites nearby! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the garden shed. The location was great. We visited Whitby, York and Harrogate all whilst staying at the garden shed. The surroundings looked perfect for walking too. If we had more time this would definitely be something we would have explored. The hut itself was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking and staying for a number of nights. The outdoor terrace was lovely and if the weather was a little warmer we would have enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit in this cosy area. The hut is cosy and warm due to great heating and a beautiful log fire. Karen is a wonderful host who provided us with a beautiful welcome basket of breakfast items and homemade cake! There is also an honesty shop onsite with local produce and a selection of homemade ready meals made by a local chef if you don’t fancy cooking. Thank you Karen for making our stay so wonderful!

Amazing stay. So cosy and perfect for a country get-away. Karen is so friendly and helpful and the on site honesty shop is lovely!

The house and garden were amazing. The fence all around the house is very safe for the dog. All the facility is clean and tidy. Such a great place to enjoy the holiday.
