Perth has many Restaurants and Cafe's, museum, 5 acre Park and downtown shopping to suit anyone's curiosities.
When you make your way into Perth, you'll be amazed by the gorgeous heritage buildings lining the streets and the passageways that once served as horse lanes. With a Scottish influence, many of Perth's stone buildings were crafted by masons, making them a long-standing backdrop to the town's landscape.
In the late 1800s the Basin area was busy with commercial and passenger boats. In the 1990s, the Crystal Palace was erected by the Perth Theatre Project as part of a planned development which did not materialize. The structure came from the Rideau Street Mall in Ottawa and the names of some of the merchants are still visible. The structure is currently home to the Perth Farmers’ Market on Saturdays throughout the summer.
Stewart Park is a five acre Park located in the heart of downtown Perth, nestled behind Town Hall between Mill and Herriot Streets. Stewart Park is known for its wide open spaces, gorgeous gardens, mature trees, photogenic bridges over the rivers, and beautiful views of Code's Mill, Town Hall, Terrace on the Tay.
A popular location for weddings and the home of the Downtown Heritage Perth BIA's Stewart Park Festival held in late July.

The Bryce Inn is gently tucked away in a quiet residential area which is only two blocks from beautiful downtown Heritage Perth. Definitely walking distance. For those who want to drive, you have 3 parking lots to choose from that charge a small fee Monday through Friday, Free on weekends. Or simply park on the streets (Gore St E or Foster St) which has a 2hr free parking restriction. If you need a fancy coffee or treat fix, the Bean Coffee Shop is located just one block away.
Perth is located in Lanark County in the heart of Eastern Ontario's Rideau River Corridor halfway between Ottawa (the nation's capital) and Kingston.
Ottawa is approximately 80 kilometers to the northeast and Smiths Falls is 24 kilometers to the east.
Coming from Ottawa, take Highway 7 West. From the Highway 417 ramp to Perth, it will take approximately 40 minutes to enter Perth's Gateway.
From Kingston, visitors can get here by taking County Road 10 from Westport or take the Highway 15 exit ramp off Highway 401. Follow the signs leading you to Perth!
