I cannot say enough about The Pine Tree Villa: it was a little difficult to find because of the GPS accuracy but my mother and I were so pleased from the moment we entered. The property is very secure, has a large backyard and beautiful view in the distance. There was not a single amenity that we didn't have available including towels, dishes, utensils, cutlery, kitchen appliances and cleaning supplies. The entire place was spacious and clean, beds well made, tasteful decorations and thoughtful touches in every room. You will feel right at home and I certainly did not want to leave. If I ever visit Belize/San Ignacio again then this is the ONLY place I would want to stay. Thank you to the host representative who was very responsive upon arrival and I HIGHLY recommend the Pine Tree Villa!
Our stay at Vacasa was pretty nice. Getting there was a bit of an issue since we did not realize how far away it was from town centre, not walkable. We also were not given the lockbox code before we left, and since we had no service or wifi, that made things stressful. However, once we got inside our stay was awesome. Each bedroom had its own AC unit which was great for how hot it was the weekend we stayed. The living room was nice, having Netflix was great. Everything was clean and tidy and there was lots of cooking equipment if you wanted. This place is not in a walkable area, so you do need a car but there is parking. We did have groceries and water delivered through The Runner Delivery service. In addition, the caretaker Elida was awesome and super quick to respond to anything we needed. Once we had a car getting around was easy. This town is beautiful with lots to see. We would stay here again, the beds were comfortable.
This is a really nice house and very comfortable. It is more spacious than one might expect when you drive up. The home is in a neighborhood so there are dogs that bark at night sometimes and roosters that crow early in the morning. This was the only issue we had which is beyond anyone's control. There were a lot of birds singing and the outdoor space is great to sit and listen while drinking your morning coffee. The owners put a sign along the street to identify the property and this is helpful because the photo shows the back of the house.
