Good location in a relatively busy area thanks to the university campus nearby. Pretty much all sheets are stained but for the price it was expected. Spaces are shared, so not quite sparkling clean (especially the bathroom curtains).
I appreciate the clutter-free space and the quiet atmosphere. However, the bed had pillow shams and when I removed the shams to sleep on the pillows, there were no pillow cases and the pillows had stains on them. The bathroom was decently clean, and the towels were fresh, but shower curtain had patches of black mold as well as areas on the bath caulking. These are the two main things I look to relax in when I stay - a clean bead and shower so I was a little on edge. Plenty of room and open space, so a lot of potential if the sleeping and bathing could be cleaned up a bit.

Upon arrival the beds were not made, and the sheets were in a tangled pile on the desk. Given the visible stains, I wasn't sure if they were clean. I asked Robert about this and response was slow. Overall price value is good, especially for someone who might check in late and leave early.
It’s close to the loop and transportation to WashU is very convenient.

The Delmar Loop is a pedestrian oriented retail corridor built along a historic trolley line, known for its music venues, entertainment, nightlife, and the diversity and quality of its dining options. This is the only neighborhood in St. Louis where you can still see an operating historic St. Louis streetcar--St. Louis in its peak was famous for its streetcar line. The Delmar Loop includes the Pageant concert venue, the top music venue in the region. Other major attractions include the Pin Up Bowl (an intimate 8-lane bowling alley often frequented by the famous musicians who play at the Pageant), Blueberry Hill (once a music venue for the famous rock'n'roll icon Chuck Berry), and Delmar Hall (another major venue for musicians and comedians).
The Loop is located on the northwest corner of Forest Park, the cultural crown jewel of the St. Louis region (downtown is not the cultural center). Forest Park was voted top urban park in the USA this year by USA Today, and is 50% larger than Central Park in NYC. Forest Park has breathtaking landscaping and wildlife for an urban park, and contains the top cultural attractions in the region including the St. Louis Art Museum (ranked a top museum nationally), Missouri History Museum, the MUNY (the largest outdoor musical theater in the USA), the St. Louis Zoo (ranked 8th in the USA), the Science Center.
