Jim’s place was a perfect match for me! Lots of fun and quirky decor nestled in a quaint small-town setting. Jim himself was the consummate host—helping me unload my car and letting me know that I was welcome to reach out at any time, even on Christmas Eve! I will definitely choose Jim’s place again if I’m ever in the area.

My boyfriend and I were there for only one night but we still felt right at home, Main Street Lz was super quiet after 10pm so we were able to sleep without screaming children around to disturb us. Jim was super friendly and would definitely recommend again!

This was a great stay in the Lake Zurich area. Jim, the host, was awesome, super responsive and facilitated a super smooth check in process. The real perks of this place are the proximity to the lake, walkable (and I mean across the street) access to multiple food options, and the incredible balcony area that was great for relaxing after a long day. I also spent many hours hanging out with Jim and some of the other guests that came through during my two day stay. Definitely a nice balance between a hostel and hotel that meets my travel and social needs. Will definitely be staying here again if I am in the area.

Really cute place. It was quiet, clean and affordable. Jim is friendly and very helpful and responds quickly. He goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. It was a great stay with a great host!
