Lovely stay at the chalet! Super close to the pool, restaurant and playground (less than one minutes walk!) Still close is also the Big Sheep and Milky Way, so really excellent location to enjoy loads! Stayed with our 2 year old toddler who really enjoyed the experience (we were down for a friends wedding!) We also did the walk down to the pebble beach and waterfall, last 10 minutes are straight downhill so bring proper shoes!

If staying here, and I do fully recommend that you do , DO NOT follow google maps’ directions as it led us down a path with horrific pot holes causing damage to our car. Rather, follow the road a further 100m to the Parkdean Bideford Bay holiday park, follow the road all the way down, turn left for the shop and then follow that road to the car park at the bottom. The chalet is to the right of the car park. The chalet itself has a wonderful sea view and was clean enough, save for quite a lot of white dog hairs on the rug and sofa, but we have a black dog, so understand the difficulty to remove them! Our only issues really were the size of the shower, not really viable for those of a larger build, and the kitchen tap drips constantly, becoming more of a constant stream when the chalet next door used their water, or when the tap in the bathroom was used. The Kitchen was very well equipped, we particularly enjoyed the bottle fridge! We enjoyed our stay and thought the location was fab.

Accommodation was small but perfectly adequate. The location is a bit strange, a long and very steep walk to the beach. The resort entertainment was poor and pool access was limited, despite it being school holidays. The accommodation was fine and the kids didn’t want to come home.
