Our home is a true ranch! Other than the few steps up to the front porch, three bedroom, a full bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room area all on one level. There is a bedroom, full bathroom, laundry area, living room and bar area in the basement.

My family stayed at Whispering Maple for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With a group of 8, there was plenty of room and I was surprised that even the bedrooms had plenty of room and were as described and shown in the listing. We felt at home here. I really appreciated that this place was very nicely decorated and no clutter. The bonus was the basement room with the 4th bedroom, and again so much room. Our host Rob immediately responded to my questions from booking, to arrival and checkout. I would definitely recommend without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I am from Independence, MO and now live in Smithville, MO (about 30 minutes away from Independence). I have a beautiful wife and 2 lovely daughters. I am employed as a salesman in the electrical wholesale industry. We specialize in automation on the plant floor. My passion is real estate! I love anything real estate related, including short term rentals (AirBNB's). I have been hosting since 2018 and love what I do. I manage for other short term rental owners through Just Like Home Vacation Rentals. In my free time, I love to hang with my family, and take trips to see as many different parts of the country as possible. I also enjoy playing/watching soccer and gravel bike riding. We have some great areas around Smithville for that! I host on AirBNB because I enjoy providing a safe, clean space for travelers from all over the world to enjoy.
