Welcome to the "Heir Capone Speakeasy"! This loft was specifically designed for guests who want a UNIQUE Airbnb experience in the heart of historic downtown Johnson City and walking distance to just about everything! Our space is inspired by the speakeasies from the 1920s and the early 1930s. The loft is a one-of-a-kind, fun, comfortable and luxurious space. Located on the second floor of a historic 1925 red brick building, this is a special find. For events please contact the host. The “Heir Capone Speakeasy” has a main living area with exposed brick walls, custom lighting, bronze tin ceilings and a large living space with a dining banquet that seats eight and an extra -large-built-in leather sofa for lounging. It has a gourmet kitchen with an oversized island that can seat five. Our loft includes a large poker table and music provided by a gramophone. Put on some of our old Sinatra albums and enjoy the vibe! Our loft can sleep up to six people. The primary bedroom (Located behind a secret door) has a King sized bed. There is a large en-suite bathroom for it. The second bedroom has a Queen sized bed (Located in the front of the loft.) We have a Queen sleeper sofa (Located in the front of the second living space.) One full bathroom (for the Queen bedroom and the sleeper sofa guests.) An additional full kitchen ( Located in the front part of the loft) Amenities include an iron and ironing board, hairdryer in each bathroom, WIFI and cleaning supplies. Coffee , tea, cooking oils and spices in the kitchen. Each bedroom and the main living room has a Smart TV with access to streaming service options (However, please sign into your personal accounts to access). All bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with plush bedding, sheets, towels, and linens (all professionally laundered) We use free and clear products for all these items. The loft is equipped with a washer/dryer room for any laundry needs while you are in town. There is limited free parking across from the loft but behind the loft there is free 24 hour parking in the Southern Craft lot. Street parking is free when available . There is a 10 minute loading zone in front of the building to unload your luggage and bring it inside before parking. We are on the second floor of the building. There is a single flight of steps to the space. Guests have full and private access to the entire loft. We have been awarded “AIRBNB Superhosts” This means we go above and beyond for our guests. Please message us through the Airbnb app. We usually respond within an hour, if not right away! Cleaning Fee: We pride ourselves on providing a clean environment for our guests. We hire a professional cleaning service that works hard for us. They treat the property as their own and we pay them well. If during your stay anything isn’t up to your standards please let us know and we will address it.

My husband and I booked for our wedding weekend and had an absolutely perfect stay. The space was beyond gorgeous and extremely well equipped. The host was kind enough to permit us to use their space for our rehearsal dinner and our guests were awestruck. The 2 kitchens came in so handy for prepping for our rehearsal dinner. The host was communicative and so helpful with clear instructions and recommendations of place to eat. 11/10 would recommend!

Simply put....Wow! 5 stars all the way. The online pictures are beautiful, but still don't do this place justice. This is truly a hidden gem nestled smack in the middle of downtown Johnson City. True "old timey" speakeasy feel with all kinds of display cases showing off relics of that unique era of American History. We had a small family get together to celebrate a birthday. We all came expecting a good time.... and we all left having experienced one of the most memorable, fun filled weekends that we will cherish the memories of for a lifetime. Big thank you to David and Karen for being exceptional hosts. Super responsive. Super accommodating. Expectations were set high....you exceeded them in every sense. Thinking of visiting Johnson City and you stumbled on this review? Stop searching and book it. You won't regret it. You can thank the hosts again on my behalf!
It took a bit for me to prepared this review as there are so many great things to say about this place!!! The space is EVERYTHING, a perfect, luxurious setting with everything that you could possibly need for anything from a normal stay to an event with 20 people. Every item in the place is of the higheat quality: linens, dinnerware, seating, showers, etc. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. The area and location could not be more perfect. It is on a main street that boasts several nice restaurants and bars in the heart of downtown johnson city. The most amazing part is that despite the ongoings outside the space, you cannot hear any of it, it is quiet and private. This is definitely a place we will rent time and again, even for just a night out on the town with friends. ❤️
We have stayed at many AirBNBs — this has to be the best experience and coolest of all. If you’ve enjoyed The Godfather, The Untouchables, or Goodfellas, you are really going to love the vibe of this space. Alternatively, if you like luxury-hip, this is your place. While we knew this was a new listing, we trusted our hosts’ exceptional rating for their other property. We were not only *not* disappointed but pleasantly surprised. David met us at the property during check-in to show us around. He showed us the many features (including a secret entrance to the Primary Suite). The space was luxurious and comfortable all at once. This is a perfect location, walkable distance to restaurants and everything downtown Johnson City has to offer. We will definitely check to see if Heir Capone is available for any of our future stays in J.C., Tennessee!

The loft is in the perfect downtown location. It is surrounded by some of the most popular restaurants and about everything else in the historic Johnson City downtown core.
The neighborhood is very walk friendly. In addition to the many restaurants there’s some clothing stores , a hookah lounge and a yoga studio. We are also 2 minutes away from ETSU.
There’s a large 24 hour free parking lot where Southern Craft restaurant is located across State of Franklin Street behind the loft. The lot in front of the loft is busy during the day with 2 hour parking 8 until 5. Please do not park in the lot next door in front of the condos. There are signs posted and they tow very quickly.
