Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. No workmen/women this static is for holidays only Situated on a corner plot at Lanyon Holiday Park, our modern caravan 'Buttercup' has central heating & double glazing & is ideally placed for both the north & south coasts. Lanyon has a heated indoor pool (seasonal), play park, launderette & EV charger points. *New* furnished, gated decking. Duvets, pillows & mattress protectors are provided. Just bring your own bedlinen and towels. The comfortable lounge has an L shaped sofa, 32" HD TV, DVD player and an electric lava rock fire. The dining area has ample seating and the fitted kitchen has a full size gas hob and oven, fridge and microwave. It is well equipped with cooking utensils, saucepans, oven dishes, crockery and cutlery. The lounge, dining area and kitchen are open plan, making this a really sociable space. There is a double bedroom with a vanity mirror, storage cupboards and a wardrobe with drawers. There's also a twin bedded room suitable for children or small adults (beds are 2' wide singles) this room also has storage cupboards and a wardrobe. One of the beds in this room can be stored to accommodate a travel cot. Please let us know if you would be bringing a travel cot so we can get this room ready for you. The room would then accomodate one child or small adult and one infant in it's own travel cot. The bathroom includes a shower unit, pedestal basin with mirror/light/shaving point above, a shelving unit for your toiletries and a WC. The fully enclosed gated decking is furnished with a table and chairs - perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or for those occasions when you would prefer to dine outside. The decking leads down to an attractive garden area where you will find a bench to sit and relax. Guest access Parking is on the spacious plot. Four Lanes village is approx. 10 mins. walk. There's a shop/post office, two pubs (one of the pubs also has a handy shop at the rear) and an organic farm shop. Larger shops are located on the retail parks approximately 5 minutes drive away

Very enjoyable stay and nice host.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at buttercup. It was spotlessly clean, lots of kitchen equipment etc to make preparation of meals easy, comfortable bed for a good nights sleep and plenty of DVDs, games and puzzles for when weather is not so good, a real cosy home from home feel. The caravan site is situated in a good position for access to all coasts of beautiful Cornwall and there are two pubs just a 10 minute walk away - the Sportsman was by far our favourite, good food, welcoming staff and friendly locals & it also has a shop that's open when pub is open. I would highly recommend this caravan and site to all my family and friends, it really has all you need and was excellent value for money.
An easy 5/5. Great communication with Cathy prior to our visit… Buttercup was clean, so very homely and more equipped than I had expected (tea bags- I always bring in case, but it had so much more… kitchen wise). My two boys (13 & 11) and I slept very comfortably, great shower and visiting over a mixed weather weekend, found the electric fire boosted a quick blast of heat. Location wise, just perfect… as long as you have your own transport. We enjoyed our existing plans to visit nearby Falmouth and Truro but also got blown away in every sense by the closeby beautiful beach at Portreath and stunning views from Carn Brea Castle!

Lanyon Holiday Park is in a lovely semi-rural location and has an indoor heated swimming pool (seasonal) and a well equipped play park.
The Neighbourhood is a farming area with many green fields and nature walks this area is in the greenlands of Cornwall there are many mining attractions and lots of other things to see and do in the local area. There are 2 pubs within walking distance and the Carn Brea Castle is also a nice Tourist spot.
Bringing your own Car is recommended, there are local bus services and taxis
