Solid Luxury? More like Solid Average Only after booking and they have your money do they tell you the WiFi is unreliable yet they provide you with a smart TV which you can’t use. When the WiFi does work it has a landing page meaning the Smart TV needs to have a web page opened everytime to agree the terms and conditions. The WiFi did not work for almost all of our stay and the mobile signal is also poor The Hot Tub was awful and as soon as you took the lid off it lost 5 degrees making it like warm before taking 2-3 hours to heat up so we had to use the hot tap to warm it up There are no bins located at the lodge or even a brush or shovel - all of these are communal which at a “luxury” lodge is a joke The lodge appears new however has water damaged skirtings and massive cracks of about 1CM along the bedroom wall adjoining the bathroom We’ve just toured Scotland staying in 4 other true luxury lodges and this was by far the poorest - definitely would not book again

Absolutely beautiful lodge very clean & had everything we needed, hot tub was a great addition but not useable in the rain maybe a cover or awning would be helpful, we’ll definitely be back tho .

We absolutely loved our stay in Chesnut Lodge☺️. It was the perfect location for a peaceful break. The view from the hot tub is amazing and there’s a secure area for the dogs to wander 🐾. There’s everything you need in the lodge & it’s not far from Cupar where there’s shops etc. We loved our stay so much that we ended up extending by a few days. The host was extremely helpful when doing this as well as answering anything else. Staff were all really friendly! Great walks near by, and there’s goats, cows and other farm animals near by. We absolutely LOVED our stay here and can’t wait to come back🥰.

Check in was quick and easy with the lodge ready for our arrival. We had requested to bring two dogs with us and the team at solid luxury had laid out extra dog blankets, water bowls and treats for the dogs which was a nice touch. Place was quiet, peaceful and exactly what we were looking for in our getaway. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the near future!

Absolutely fantastic and we absolutely plan to return. Beautiful lodge and surroundings, the only downside was the storm which clearly is not their problem. They took the time to check in and offer another space to park our car in case trees did come down. Can’t recommend highly enough
