Simply put, it was absolutely amazing! The place was not only nice, but also impeccably clean, which made our stay very enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised to find that all the amenities we needed were readily available. It truly felt like a home away from home. Additionally, we were touched by Ellen's thoughtfulness in providing us with welcome gifts upon arrival. It was such a sweet gesture and made us feel incredibly welcomed. Another aspect we loved about the place was the ample space for our dog to run around and stretch his legs.he enjoyed every moment of it. Moreover, we had the pleasure of meeting neighbours who were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their warmth and hospitality truly added to the overall experience. We would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway. It truly was a memorable stay.

The place is easy to find, and very clean and cozy. Ellen welcomed us with warm greetings on a scrabble board and prepared some local food, beer, a gift card at a local cafe, and a lot more in the kitchen than you can imagine (e.g., a Tiger rice cooker, Kikkoman soya sauce and vinegar, etc). The place is ideal for fishing. It was also nice to walk in the Fenelon Falls area. We have a family of 5 plus a dog. Everyone had a lot of fun. Thank you, Ellen, for being such a good hostess. Much appreciated.

We had a lovely time here! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The yard was huge which allowed for many activities during the day and space for our dog to play and run around. The yard is not enclosed and open to neighbours so it is lacking some privacy but everyone was quite friendly! Another great thing would be the canal does opens to the lake and we had a great workout paddle boarding around!
