The cottage is even cosier, and even more attractively and interestingly decorated, and equipped, than the photos suggest. Comfortable and warm, very spacious, it’s a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. James and Olivia were very welcoming ( fresh flowers and Easter treats!) and quick to respond to our questions. We would highly recommend Herbert’s Cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. It was exactly what we were looking for to mark the end of 2023... The house has great character, is filled with beautiful, tasteful detail. The kitchen has everything you are looking for and the view from the breakfast table over the fields is marvellous. All the rooms are spacious, bright and nicely decorated. We were looking for a place to cycle from and this was ideal for cycling lovely quiet country roads. Would highly recommend this place.

Place was exactly like the photos and the hosts were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so welcome. Location is only a few minutes from Navan town centre so perfect for our needs. Would happily return and stay here again.

James’s cottage was the perfect getaway. 10 mins from Trim town centre, and surrounded by beautiful farm land, it is a perfect spot to disconnect and get inspired creatively! We loved it!
