Escape to your private cabin nestled on 3 wooded acres along the Potomac River just an hour or so drive from metro DC. The cabin will pamper you with all the comforts of home while a natural wonderland awaits just outside your door. Just a short walk from the cabin, you'll find 150 feet of Potomac riverfront that's reserved just for you and the guests at our adjoining riverfront property. This slow-moving stretch of the Potomac is ideal for fishing, kayaking, or relaxing on an inner tube. Built in the 1940’s, this vintage cedar-shingled cabin is tucked away on three wooded acres. Beautifully renovated inside and out, you'll appreciate the spacious comfort as well as luxuries like the tiled walk-in shower, rainfall showerhead, and heated floor. The open-concept main-level includes a large, well-equipped kitchenette with dining area, spacious living room, and bedroom with a queen bed. The cozy loft features two twin beds INTERNET: Our Wi-Fi internet is fast enough for streaming Netflix, etc. on the Roku TV. There are occasional outages.

We had a great stay! The cabin was well equipped, clean, and cozy. We felt right at home! It was a short drive to Shepherdstown and about 10-15 mins to Harper’s Ferry! What a gorgeous area, we didn’t mind the drive because the scenery was incredible. Would definitely come back!
Such a great spot in the woods, but still drivable to Harper’s Ferry and Shepardstown. The place is newly renovated inside and had great WiFi and TV signal (Verizon cell phones had no service). Will definitely return!
We got there 30 min. early and no one was there so I text for approval to enter early. Never heard from them. They used our early arrival for not cleaning better. Once again, no one was there when we arrived. Dirty floor and smeared counters dusty end tables, razor on the floor dirty tissue in couch cushions then someones underwear mixed in with blanket upstairs. Burned out empty wall airfreshner Even dogs dishes were dirty. Yet no one was cleaning when we got there but they blamed me for arriving early. When someone cleans , you can smell it as soon as you enter. It stunk ! Trash can smelled of cigarettes.Grill was discusting Had I the funds, I would have left. It was out in the woods and my granddaughters were tired so we cleaned what we could and made the best of it. Sprayed disinfectant on beds and slept with our own throws on top of the made beds. Hosts denied it and Airbnb support could not get a refund because I couldnt take pictures. Ratings were 5 stars ! Staged and fake !
We didn't want to leave! We loved sitting on the porch listening and watching the birds. The grill was fun to use. It is a very convenient location to visit the area, especially Shepherdstown which was barely a ten minute drive. And it still seems remote. We enjoyed not having cell service and having the opportunity to make phone calls with the groovy yellow land line phone. I can't remember the last time that happened. Its a wonderful place for two.
We loved getting away to this beautiful cabin! We enjoyed the space, the river access, and the proximity to downtown Shepherdstown.

It's just a 5-mile drive to quaint and charming Shepherdstown, and 10 miles to fascinating Harpers Ferry. History lovers will appreciate the close proximity to Antietam Battlefield, Harpers Ferry National Park, and many other Civil War sights. Fantastic hiking, river rafting, and biking along the C&O Canal await the adventurer.
Within a 10 mile radius you'll find plenty of options for groceries, shopping, and dining.
