Nothing but rave reviews about Zeb's cottage. It was wonderfully neat and clean and very cozy for a winter visit. The location is great - tucked away but a short walk to the main street with shops and restaurants. Great local recommendations - O'Hurley's General Store is a marvel. My husband was particularly impressed with Zeb's design - all the beautiful details of the interior of the cottage and the organizational systems that made everything seem just in the right place. There was a hook just where you needed one!
We had a delightful stay! The cottage was meticulous and well stocked. Easy walk/drive to Shepherdstown yet felt we were in our own country oasis. Lovely grounds. Definitely would go again!
Charming cottage, with all the amenities we could imagine. We've never stayed in a place that was so well equipped, from the modern kitchen to the bathrooms and bedrooms. We appreciated the harmony with the outdoors, the stream running alongside the house, the garden in the back, even flower boxes in bloom. It was a easy walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We'd love to come back when we can enjoy the patio and the fire pit next to the stream.
Zeb’s house was a lovely, cozy, and immaculately clean place for a getaway; it is so beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. We loved the house and loved Sheperdstown. I especially liked sitting outside, drinking coffee and listening to the water flowing in the creek and enjoying the winter sun. I’ve rented many vacation rentals and this is one of my very favorites. I would happily return.
Really wonderful cozy house and great location! We would absolutely love to stay again. It would be even nicer in the summer, but we enjoyed our wintertime stay and even got to relax on the hammock and have enjoy a fire under the stars. An easy and pleasant walk to downtown and an array of amazing restaurants. Our host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend!
