Great stay at Stephen’s. He advised us not to use our non 4WD vehicle to get up to the site but we tried anyway because we arrived after dark. He told us he could help get our car unstuck and patiently did so. It was a serene place and we tried some of his distillery items, which were tasteful and great (no hangover!!). Friendly and loving cat who follows him around as well.

Stephen has a friendly cat following him all the time. The outdoor shower is the best thing ever. Be prepared to bundle up at night with extra blankets, the tent can get pretty cold. (mid August)

Stephens place is AMAZING. It’s exactly as described and such a gem. It’s private, beautiful and surrounded by nature. If you are a tent camper but looking for a little more comfort with a bed, shower, and toilet, then run, don’t walk and book this place! The outdoor shower was such a unique treat with hot water and surrounded by nature. Stephen is such a kind human! We got to chat with him while we tasted his spirits in the distillery and he even came up to the site to jump start our car when the battery died. We will definitely be going back!
