We really enjoyed the place. We were meet at the property at check in and shown all things. Was always responsive when messaged. The Uber rides to downtown were not bad priced, and a few bars within walking distance, they were fun and seemed like a nice local hangout.
Great place for our multigenerational family group. Plenty of space for all of us. Several Walkable places in the neighborhood - We loved the Jamaican restaurant across the street, the beer garden, Mexican place, BbQ and bakery. Hosts were very responsive on delivering some missing kitchen supplies and addressing other minor issues. We had trouble with one of the showers and the backyard could be more user friendly, but overall a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Our group had a great stay at Nichole’s listing. The unit was perfect for our group - 7 individuals in total - with 5 large beds and 4 full baths. The unit is close to many bars and restaurants in the Bywater and was walkable or bikeable to the FQ. The space was clean and looked like the listing. No issues checking in, and when our flight was severely delayed, Nichole was flexible with allowing us to pay for a later checkout so we weren’t stranded with our luggage or sitting at the airport all day. All said, we would definitely recommend and stay at Nichole’s place again!
Place was huge, clean and perfect for our large group. Love the location in Bywater and Nichole and co. were responsive and very easy to communicate with.

HISTORY:
The area now known as Bywater was mostly plantation land in the colonial era, with significant residential development beginning the first decade of the 19th century as part of what was known as "Faubourg Washington," part of the predominantly Francophone "downtown" section of New Orleans. Many people from France, Spain, and the French Caribbean settled here. During the century, it grew with both white Creoles of French and Spanish descent, as well as mixed-race Creoles of French, Spanish, African, and Native American descent. They were also joined by immigrants from Germany, Italy, and Ireland.
