Situated in the center of Marblehead, with convenient access to local shops, eateries, and beaches, this cute cottage presents numerous delightful surprises. Boasting a spacious chef's kitchen, a secluded courtyard, and a detached office area, this sea-inspired sanctuary provides all the essentials for your perfect home away from home. An unexpectedly spacious stainless steel kitchen that flows seamlessly onto a charmingly shaded deck with a view of the private courtyard. Enjoy your morning coffee while basking in morning sun and gazing upon the landscaped backyard. The vibrant living space in the front of the home connects to a half bath and wet-bar, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable stay. On the second floor, high cathedral ceilings tower as you relax on the plush king bed in the primary bedroom, which offers ample storage for longer visits. An exquisite ensuite bath boasts whimsical nautical touches as well as a glass-enclosed shower. The bedroom, at the opposite end of the second floor, presents an equally cozy queen bed and laundry accessibility. Please note, both bedrooms lack privacy doors. They are positioned apart yet sharing a common hallway. The lower level living area expands the entertainment area and offers a sofa bed as well as courtyard access. Tucked at the courtyard's end is a quaint detached office — ideal for undistracted work.

We arrived on a silly trip from our own equally beautiful seaside spot on the South Shore. Amy and Bryan's home is cute and although not spacious, perfectly set for a brief getaway. It was an easy walk downtown and we loved going to Shubies Gourmet for a stay at home dinner the first night. Movie night was so fun! In the Heights. SO GOOD! Next day we enjoyed the Blue Canoe for breakfast and loved the Hammond Castle in the afternoon. I want a castle! After a goofy stop at Bit Bar for a cocktail and appetizers we went to Amores Mexican. Still close by and very good. I enjoyed the live Mariachi band and tipped the musicians profusely. The second movie night was Come From Away, another must see. The only suggestion would be that check in time be earlier than 4 pm and checkout time slightly later without a $100 penalty for each hour over 10 am. I might have enjoyed a more leisurely departure. The house is a nice as it appears in the photos. Very clean and comfortable for our family. Amy is an excellent host who is very attentive. She genuinely cared about the quality of our stay. We would go back again!
The house was adorable, clean and well stocked! Amy was very responsive and quick to check in with us to be sure everything was ok with check in and during our stay. Location was very walkable to great restaurants, stores and church. Keyless check in was very convenient! The only minor suggestion would be a full length mirror. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!!
We had a wonderful stay at Amy's adorable Boat House. It was the perfect place for us to stay as a family of four. The beds were very comfortable, the house was extremely clean, and the location perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. Amy was a wonderful host. We hope to be back! Thanks, Amy!

Marblehead is a quaint seaside town that offers many options for both locals and vacationers. Visit any of our local beaches — Gas House Beach, Devereux Beach or Grace Oliver's Beach, walk around Old Town and browse the local shops, or visit one of our many restaurants, such as The Landing, Sea Salt, Maddie's Sail Loft or The Beacon and enjoy some time with family and friends. If you take a quick drive over to Marblehead Neck — "The Neck", as it's commonly known — you can spend the day at the Chandler Hovey Park enjoying the lighthouse and all of the boats sailing in and out of the harbor. Or, head over to Castle Rock and watch the waves crash against the rocks.
You will never get bored touring the lovely sights of Marblehead! And, if you are lucky enough to visit us during the month of July, you are in for a treat! The Festival of the Arts hosts a wonderful array of music, art and celebration (not to mention fireworks) to celebrate the birth of this great nation. It's a series of fun-filled days that you will be sure to enjoy! And, if you are visiting during the month of October, you have to venture over to Salem to take in Haunted Happenings! It's a must if you are in the area at that time of year.
