wonderful spot to go with friends, absolutely delightful
Had a great stay at Davids home! Beds were comfortable, house was very nice. And the animals definitely added to the stay.
Perfect for a weekend getaway
I should have looked more closely at the photos of the rental property, but most of the pictures are of the animals, which were a draw. There is no living room. The tiny couches that are in the kitchen/dining area are uncomfortable. There were no glasses, only mugs, and not enough cooking supplies. There was no indirect lighting, all overhead bright LEDs. The bedrooms were fine, but the beds were not comfortable, and the sheets were very poor quality synthetics - with no top sheets at all. They also smelled strongly of perfumed detergent. The hot tub didn't get hot. The two goats were in a relatively small enclosure. It was a bit sad. All of the above may have been less of a factor during the summer when much more time is spent outside, but not great during the darker months when you have to hang inside. That said, David was very communicative.
Nice little country get away. It feels like you’re in your grandparents house in the middle of the woods. It’s not a hotel or a super plush airbnb. It’s a farm house with chickens and goats and woods. Close to good bakeries and some restaurants, it’s convenient yet quiet. Host is very responsive. I would stay here again
