Step inside and head along the hallway to the gorgeous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Take a little time out to make yourself at home in front of the wood burner in the lounge area – or, if you fancy a little fun – head to the shared play barn for a game of table football, or to take a dip in the heated indoor plunge pool (available April to October). When it’s time to eat, cook up a storm for your loved ones in the chic kitchen and then get the gang together to eat around the dining table. Alternatively, head out into the courtyard, fire up the BBQ and enjoy an al fresco dinner as you enjoy the sea views. After dinner, take a dip in the private hot tub or head back to the lounge area to watch your favourite movie. When you can’t keep your eyes open any longer, you’ll find four stylish bedrooms to retire to. Take a stroll along the beach, go horse riding, enjoy a game of golf, or simply tuck into some traditional fish and chips in Westward Ho! (0.5 miles). Alternatively, a private track from the cottage provides access to the South West Coast Path, so grab your hiking boots and take a beautiful 3-mile hike to the pretty fishing village of Appledore to enjoy some of the best ice cream that Devon has to offer.
