The fully stocked kitchen features an oversized refrigerator, double gas burner stove top, full-size toaster oven, coffee station, and Vitamix blender. Stay connected with Starlink internet with speeds over 150 Mb/sec, ideal for remote work or streaming your favorite entertainment. The bungalow also includes full-size Whirlpool washer and dryer units for your convenience. Dine indoors or outdoors surrounded by nature with a view of the beach from the back porch. After beach walks, rinse off in the Balinese stone outdoor shower.

We loved our 6 day stay at this cozy house nestled in the small local community of Rocas de Amancio. The neighbors were so nice and welcoming. We were surprised at seeing such few people on the amazing beach. We were totally alone more than once which made our time extra special. The beach is definitely a hidden gem. The outside shower was so refreshing to rinse off the salt and sand and cool off. Making meals was fun in the simple but well equipped kitchen. We loved using the French press coffee maker, and they even had a Vitamix for awesome smoothies. We ate all of our meals on the back porch while watching the iguanas roaming in the back yard. We even saw a sloth in a tree above the (steep) driveway down to the house. The restaurant next door offered a variety of fresh seafood, was super convenient, and had a great vibe. We would definitely rent this place again. Highly recommended.
This was by far our favorite AirBnB experience to date. The location is unbeatable — steps from the beach and a great restaurant, 10 minute walk to the surf break at Dominicalito, 3 minute drive to Dominical for restaurants + groceries. The neighbors were very friendly and respectful. The property was beautiful — we spent hours on the back porch listening to the waves and wildlife. The house itself was clean, well-stocked (we cooked most of our meals), and comfortable. The WiFi was suitable for 2 people working remotely. The road to the house was very steep, but our cheap sedan rental car had no problems. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Overall, incredible experience at a very good price.
This place was true to the listing, had a very peaceful stay. The yard came alive in the mornings always something to watch and listen to. Nice and clean for an older place it’s very well maintained. Good lighting and air conditioning/ fans right where they are needed. Security gate a pleasant peace of mind for us, although the neighborhood is very quiet. The neighbor beside us was wonderful and caring lady. I got sick and she and her family made sure to help my partner to get me back on track. I would definitely stay again if we came back to this area.

Rocas de Amancio is located on the beach 2 km south of Dominical. This small community of about 10 houses is comprised mostly of the descendants of Amancio Obando who homesteaded the area in the 1950s. The cement driveway down to the beach is shared by the boutique hotel Costa Paraíso. The beach is one of the most beautiful and photographed beaches on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Our next door neighbor runs a small restaurant next to her house that serves traditional Costa Rican food.
Your vehicle is protected under our large carport and automatic security gate. A four wheel drive vehicle is not necessary, but can be helpful when pulling out of the steep driveway to the main road (especially during rainy season).
