Welcome to our tranquil studio casita, perched atop a hill with sweeping vistas of Kingston, a remote yet charming town. This efficient one-bedroom retreat offers comfortable minimalist living, allowing you to focus on the awe-inspiring views of the Black Range Mountains and the serene valley below. Enjoy an outdoor clawfoot bathtub with hot water and an unrivalled view of the stars. There is a small kitchen, microwave, and mini fridge. Some cookware and tableware available. Enjoy an open living room with breathtaking views of the mountains, and a cozy bedroom with a full bed. It is a small but comfortable space to share.

Such a charming little spot with great views! I especially enjoyed the outdoor tub and the wood burning stove. Both Laurel and Catherine were very friendly and responsive. The cabin could have been cleaner and better stocked, but overall, a really peaceful and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

What a special place! If you want to hide away in nature in a cabin with big windows overlooking mountains, a wood stove, and a bathtub outside, then this is the place for you. We had a magical time getting away from it all and basking in the peaceful quiet of the area. Thank you!
This is a beautifully built and very comfortable casita with spectacular views. We spent a quiet week here watching clouds roll over the mountains and listening to the birds. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was really cool. We would definitely return.

Kingston is a small rural community of about 40 full-time residents. The Black Range Lodge serves as a cornerstone for the town, offering connection in the midst of the serenity of solitude within nature. There is very limited cellular service, and limited fuel or food proprietors within about 30 miles.
The home is accessed by a dirt road. The road is maintained, though subject to acts of weather etc. Under most circumstances, the Lookout may be accessed with a standard clearance 2 wheel drive vehicle.
