Immerse yourself in nature and take a peek into the world of tiny houses in this cute little shack nestled into a grove of gum trees beside a creek, around the bend from a beach. MarshMellow is about as tiny as a house can be, cleverly designed to have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including peace, privacy, all in a natural bushland setting. Switch off, slow down, and explore your creativity (art equipment supplied). MarshMellow is essentially 2 rooms: a living room and a bathroom with waterless composting toilet, with a sleeping loft above (accessed by a ladder). Outside there is a deck with chairs and room for yoga, an outdoor bath, a barbecue, and a fire pit (wood provided). There's also a picnic table and chairs on the creek bank, only a few meters away. We are trying to live sustainably; rewilding our land and nurturing an extensive vegetable garden, chickens, goats and bee hives. The property has important biodiversity values and received 'Land for Wildlife' accreditation from the Tasmanian Land Conservancy. We collect all our rainwater and the bathroom has a waterless composting toilet. Just 45 minutes from nipaluna/Hobart, 30 minutes from the airport, and on the edge of the Tasman Peninsula. Stock up at nearby Sorell or the excellent IGA/Hill Street Store and bottle shop at Dodges Ferry (15 minutes away).
