I booked The Lazy Fig for a friend from New York, this is what she had to say: “what a wonderful view of the sunsets... and such a wonderful sitting room and well-stacked kitchen... and incredibly peaceful and quiet... and how cozy the heated bed is... and the spa-like bathtub and shower, lots of towels and I loved the heated towel rack!!! Very relaxing”

Unfancy comfort, relaxed with a great shack vibe, it's an older shack, but the improvements make it a great stay for a couple of days. There were a few issues with cleanliness, I assume the place isn't refreshed before a booking (if it was left clean from the last stay). The views we good, but unfortunately only 1 window was cleaned (the rest were salty/cloudy) I know I booked 2 days before I stayed, but apart from auto emails I didn't feel any connection to the host that others had expressed. I would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay! Perfect spot to explore the area, visit wineries, eat great oysters and have beach walks and swims. The accomodation was great with everything we needed and a secure yard for our dogs to explore. Thank you

Our family of 5 including our dog loved the very homely, comfortable and well equipped with everything Lazy Fig. Tank water was good for drinking and enough room in the front yard for a little game of cricket or whatever. Local shop with groceries takeaway food and the beach are a 10 min walk away or 2 min drive. Beach is lovely with plenty of room to play, gentle break and a great length to walk. Macy was really good with everything with our booking. A nice outlook from the rear balcony with some views of the bay and beach. Fencing was also good enough for our medium to large sized dog. Kitchen and house has everything in plentiful supply which we really appreciated.
