Play, relax, rinse and repeat at this amazing vacation home! This is a perfect place for family gatherings. Quiet, private setting on 2.5 acres, yet close to everything! Only 200 feet from The Dragon trailhead, spend a day out biking, then come home to soak in the hot tub! Or take a peaceful 10 minute walk down to Sandy beach and watch the kids play in the water. Have a boat or RV? Kayaks or paddle boards? UTV? Bring all your toys and store them in our huge pole barn! (RV hookup available). The Dragon House at Sandy Beach is our family cottage where we spend several weeks each year enjoying everything that the Hardy Dam area has to offer. We enjoy it so much that we decided we wanted to share with you! Since this home is special to us, we ask you to treat it with care and respect, as if it were your own. Here is what our home has to offer: Upstairs you enter into a large open concept kitchen, dining, and living area. We normally just eat around the bar/island area so that we have more room in the living area. A 40" smart TV is mounted above the gas fireplace. Feel free to plug in your credentials to view Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, or any other streaming service you subscribe to. Just remember to log out before you leave! Down the hall there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a King size bed with a high quality firm mattress. The second bedroom is a bunk room for the kids (2 bunks and a trundle for a total of 5 twin size beds). Twin beds are also high quality, but are on the softer side. The upstairs bathroom is right around the corner and has heated floors for your convenience. We usually keep these floors set to 70 degrees for a toasty feel on the feet! Downstairs is another living area containing a queen size sofa bed and a 42 " TV. We have a Nintendo Switch and 4 controllers available for your use with this TV. We provide the following games: Mario Kart, Super Mario, and Super Smash Bros. The downstairs bedroom is the master. It is a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and large walk-in closet. Bed is high end, but firm. Large bathroom with dual sinks and shower with two shower heads. On the back patio is a picnic table and hot tub! Front patio contains a picnic table and a fire pit (bring your own firewood). Ten additional Adirondack chairs are available for use on back or front patio. Feel free to move them around as needed. There also may be additional chairs in the garage. The huge driveway and pole barn are plenty big enough for several cars, a boat, and/or RV. You may also use RV hookup for additional charge of $25/night. Sandy Beach County park beach is about .5 miles away, a short 10 minute walk. Boat launch is also available. Daily vehicle pass is $7 if you want to drive a vehicle. Season pass is $35. ***Security cameras are in use viewing the driveway and front yard. The security camera in the back is fixed to the house but we do not use it as we understand the desire for some privacy when using the hot tub. We use security cameras to ensure the safety of our guests and in order to preserve our amenities so they can be enjoyed to the fullest extent by future guests.
