We encourage guests to carefully read the parking signs to avoid any inconvenience. ★ Public Transportation/Metro/Subway ★ ✓ The nearest public transportation option is the bus. Guests can take the X2, X9, or X8 buses, which go to Union Station. From there, they can access the Red Line of the Metro Subway. The journey from Union Station to downtown typically takes 10-15 minutes. Additionally, guests have the option to walk 2-3 blocks away and take the Free Street Car on H Street for convenient access to other parts of the city. ★ Gym ★ ✓ Guests can access the gym by walking outside to the address 1600 Maryland Ave. They will need their building fob for entry to the building and the gym. Once inside the building, the gym will be on the left. Note: This property is located in a trendy area near the heart of Downtown, which can be busy and noisy throughout the day. Jovan's place was a little farther away from downtown but a very easy train ride to get to. I mainly booked the airbnb for the location being very close and walking distance to RFK Fields so it was ideal. The place overall was very clean and spacious and the host was very responsive and provided a bunch of details of how to get in and check out. Highly recommend!
The area is very active. Within a 2 minute walk to a couple of grocery stores and a Starbucks. 15 minute walk to a vibrant street with a bunch of restaurants. A bunch of different options. Can also see the Capitol building when you're walking outside. The unit is very clean and has a lot of room. Great home base for whatever you're in town for. Highly recommend!!
The apartment was spacious. Very bare bones, but adequate.
Great place to stay, would highly recommend staying here. Host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Apartment was lovely. In a great location for access to all Washington has to offer.
Everything was good... except when i checked in there were only 3 sets of dinnerware and we were 6 people. Host did respond quickly and offer to send more but we were hardly home. But overall good experience. the location was very close to central dc and we never really hung around near the condo. However I got the impression that the immediate neighborhood is not that safe to walk around. There was a lot of police prescence.

2. Lyft/Uber - Quick and convenient way to get anywhere in DC
3. Free2move - Rent cars as you need them for one-way trips. You can park them anywhere near your destination. There is usually one on the street or within a few blocks.
4. ZipCar - Rent a car for the duration of your choice. Pick up and drop off destination is specified when making a reservation
5. Bus Stop - Blocks away to the X2/X9 to Union Station. (Amtrak and Metro)
6. StreetCar - Blocks away to FREE trolly that goes through the H Street Corridor to Union Station
7. Bike - The city has designated bike lanes if you have your own or you can grab one on the street. Just like the scooter, you use the app to pay for the distance or time you're using it. Capital Bikeshare at Bladensburg Rd & Benning Rd NE, and/or Neal St & Trinidad Ave NE
8. Scooter - Grab a scooter and explore the city. There are several companies you can rent from including Uber, Lyft and Lime. They can be rented by simply downloading their apps to your smartphone. Speeds up to 16 mph.
