Twin Peaks offers a two floor chalet with 4 bedrooms, fitted for families or anyone looking for a secluded oasis. Well-stocked kitchen, bathroom, screened porch with fire pit and super cozy rooms, and plenty of board games for our guests to enjoy a home away from home. Plenty of indoor and outdoor lounging areas by the stream, fireside, or with scenic views of the mountains.

Anika’s place was perfect for our needs! As my son said, the place is very cozy. Anika thought everything through to make a very pleasant stay. There was anything you could ever need! The heat lamp and propane powered fire on the back porch made the cool nights comfortable. The view of the mountains was beautiful to wake up to. The beds were super comfortable and the bedrooms were sizable. Having 2 bathrooms and two showers was great for a family of four. There is a Dollar General and a well stocked gas station under 10 minutes away so you can get what you need. If you get a chance, check out the Mine Kill Falls Overlook, which is less than 10 min away. The view is amazing! If we are ever in the area again, we will surely stay again!
Anika's place was above and beyond what's shown on the listing with the clean and cozy interior. We really enjoyed the coffee supply and the stocked up kitchen. The location is perfect with the serene stream flowing in the back. Would definitely recommend and come back for more.
Beautiful place, peaceful, LOVED the stream right next to the house (opened the window a crack to hear it at night), clean home, and Anika and Ahsan were great hosts - very responsive and helpful and lovely to communicate with. Great yard and fire pit. Note on food: Most restaurants are about 30 mins away, but we very much enjoyed Chappie's in Roxbury (and the small grocery next door to Chappie's), which is about 15 mins away from the house, so that was wonderful. Recommend bringing some food to cook if you don't want to keep driving for food after you arrive - although once Chappie's opened for the evening at 5:00 (they close between 2:45 and 5), it was a pretty quick drive. (Note: there is a local pizza place ~6 mins away from the house, but they were not open the evening we were there). Anika sent us a helpful local guide, and left some delicious local farm eggs that we had for breakfast. Thanks for a wonderful house to stay in overnight on our trip!!

Gilboa is a town in Schoharie County, NY with a population of 1,047. It was originally sacrificed in 1869 to supply water via the Schoharie Reservoir. Home to the oldest fossils in the planet, Gilboa’s Fossil Museum and Mine Kill Falls are some of the greatest attractions around. Nearby towns like Hobart have iconic rare bookshops, local coffee at Stamford, restaurants in Roxbury and Grand Gorge, and cute bakeries in Jefferson. Plenty to do and see around here especially during ski season!
