I stayed at Steve’s for two months. The house is spacious with a great set up. I am a PA student and stayed here on rotations. The house is only 15-30 minutes away from the local hospitals. Steve is very helpful and always checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. I can’t say enough about how nice my stay was.

5 stars is not enough for our stay! This spacious, clean, charming remodeled home is in “real” Florida and is a short drive to rivers, state parks, springs, hiking trails; but our family kayaked, hiked, canoed, fished for hours, played pool, all without ever getting in the car! There is much to love in this part of Florida and our host Steve is more than a host, he is a local expert/guide and new friend who goes above and beyond to help guests get the true experience of this piece of Florida heaven. There is a nearby boat launch but we did not bring kayaks or canoes…no problem, Steve has several and graciously made them available to us during our stay, from the dock in his back yard across street from the Airbnb..then a short paddle to some of the prettiest spots Florida has to offer! My grandson asked about fishing and Steve promptly provided him with rods, tackle box and even went and got bait… the kids fished for hours. So memorable! We hated to leave but agree we will be back!

A true hidden gem!!! It was very clean and extremely comfortable. Steve made us feel like family/old friends coming for a visit!! The home was Super cute and comfortable for my family of 6. Steve answered all questions we had and made sure we felt at home!

Stephen's place was perfect for my visit to Dunnellon. Stephen was a great host and wanted to ensure I was comfortable and that all my questions were answered. The house has been fully renovated and is in excellent condition. Stephen is very knowledgeable about the local area and would make a perfect guide for visitors who have never visited this beautiful part of Florida. I will be trying to book this place for my future visits to the area!
