My family (me, my husband, two teenaged boys) absolutely loved this lake house. Perfect location. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner onlooking the lake was beautiful. Lots to do on the lake and going into town. Eric was responsive and welcoming. Such a great time.

We came over for a week to see our daughter (Syracuse grad school) and to take a badly needed break. We found Eric’s place on airbnb and booked it with high hopes, and it met our expectation! It was a beautiful location and a very comfortable home. It’s the perfect size for a getaway, and small enough so you are left without feeling like you need to invite others! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and terrifically comfortable! I highly recommend Eric’s place on Skaneateles!

The house is in an excellent location, very quiet for a lake house. Everything in the description is accurate. Good kitchen for cooking. The house was clean inside and out, new deck and paint job outside with great seating outdoors and in. The neighbors are very friendly, no problem parking. The town of Skaneateles is charming, try the bakery.

I’m so bummed to be back home! We had such a wonderful week at Eric’s cottage. We were there in ALL kinds of weather so used everything from the wood burning stove to the firepit and kayaks. Even taught our dog to swim off the dock. The home is immaculate with every amenity needed - and then some. The lake is crystal clear so cool to see all kinds of fish and even a muskrat from the dock. Travel 20 minutes one way for coffee and an adorable home store in Homer + a Buffalo farm on the way home. 20 minutes the other way is Skaneatles - adorable town with delicious food - we loved Doug’s, The Krebs and Rosalie’s especially - and gorgeous homes and lake views along the way. Great hiking & waterfalls in all directions.
