It's a room fit for royals, custom king size bed with a 270° mountain view. huge whirlpool tub with lake view, auto open - auto close - auto flush toilet, huge jade shower with a LAKEVIEW, mosaic wall, heated floor, floor to ceiling blow dryer, & a walk-in closet. All the furniture is custom made & the TV - hidden away - rises from the dresser with the press of a button. The Juliet balcony 200 ft over the lake is a tiny Parisian park with solar lamps that glow amber. Our property has a front row view designated by the Secretary of the Interior as Natural National Landmark. Every picture you take from our deck is a picture postcard. The entire solar colonial home was built from the ground up by the tech savvy Grandma who will be hosting you. She spared no expense. The huge kitchen is state of the art with a heated floor. We have fast Wi-Fi and nearly every room has a smart TV and buili-in USB adapters. Simply put it's a comfy marvel of technology with a stellar view.

This room is fantastic for lakeside folliage views!! Large windows with lots of natural light. The pictures are exactly as the room appears! The bathroom also had a huge tub overlooking the folliage that is perfect for relaxation. Personally wished there was an option for blinds in bathroom/room however there wasn't a house or visible neighbor that I can see from the bathroom/room windows. Bien was very quick to communicate with any issues. Welcome chocolates and champagne were fantastic touch to the room. Breakfast time was very flexible, extra meaningful to me as I like to sleep in. Breakfast included challah bread french toast and scrambled eggs, as well as fresh pastries and fruit!
I have been using this app for 11 years, experiencing many listings across and outside the US. Bien’s listing is the best I have stayed at overall! Bien is the best host I have experienced. She is thoughtful, helpful, knowledgeable, considerate, and super responsive! She also makes a mean breakfast! The space is so beautiful. The pictures are great, but they don’t even do the space justice. Bien partnered with a builder 10 years ago and built the entire house from scratch - it’s brand new and smart! Her kitchen is my dream kitchen, and her master suite that we stayed in contains the best bathroom I’ve ever experienced in an air bnb listing (and perhaps in general). The suite also has a super romantic balcony, gorgeous views of the lake and trees, and an amazing walk in closet. The location is also super convenient - within 5-30 minutes of 5 state parks right there, palisades mall, tarry town, great restaurants, and more. Extremely romantic getaway. My gf and I plan on returning!

There is a fitness culture in the neighborhood because we are surrounded by lakes and walkers and runners, cyclists and boaters, people fishing, races, walks and marathons and the folks that come to the pool.
The neighborhood is as quiet as a cemetery at night but during the day a steady parade of fitnes walkers can be seen going down our avenue in the front and around & around Rockland Lake state park in the back.
One-third of Rockland County is reserved parkland so we have a lot of wildlife here don't be surprised if you see a doe with twin fawns walking down the street next to you or if you see a fox dart across the road. Every animal that was in the Disney movie Bambi lives here.
You can stay in quiet Congers (pop 8,158), visit noisy NYC (pop 8 million) then return here to get some rest away from the honking and sirens.
Stay here for the views, luxury and quiet and take day trips to the city to see the museums, Broadway shows and Sightseeing. We're only 19 miles from NYC !
But you don't really have to leave the area, there is SO MUCH to do in the Congers vicinity and an endless variety of available foods, within walking distance or a short ride away or by delivery.

BY CAR
The best way to come in from New York City is by car. We'll give you directions with our check-in information.
BY BUS
There are buses that come directly here from the 42nd St. Port Authority bus terminal and the George Washington bridge bus terminal.
BY TRAIN
Our closest train stop is Spring Valley a 15 minutes car ride from our Bed and Breakfast.
We have a small mall within walking distance for your Dunkin donuts, pizza, and deli needs.
A bigger mall a few minutes away by car with a liquor store, supermarket (with an excellent buffet), 99 cent store and still more pizza and pasta.
And the third mall - also close by - is the second largest mall in New York State. It is huge... so much can be said about it. Read my section on the Palisades Mall in my guidebook. Its amazing!

The lake is fed by an underground spring making the water very pure & unusually blue. 200 years ago, our lake's ice was shipped as far as Australia & India creating in today's dollars a MULTI-BILLION dollar industry. I'd love to share that history with you.
