We stayed here over Christmas with our family, although the flat is on a busy road we didn’t hear too much traffic noise. The situation is unusual, it’s a semidetached house and the Airbnb is the top part of this house. So the parking situation was a bit awkward as we always had to leave room for the neighbours car. The place was clean and well serviced, but we didn’t feel very comfortable with a large glass coffee table in the living room, which was in awkward position, and seemed almost invisible, and people kept walking into it! Kitchen has full range of equipment so we could enjoy meals at the flat. The host was very responsive as there were a few maintenance issues but unfortunately being the Christmas week, it was not possible to get things fixed while we were there. The outside light for example doesn’t work so it was difficult finding the key safe and gaining access in the dark.

The flat was easy to find and has a key safe allowing for very flexible access. Although there is an outside light, opening the key safe in the dark was a bit tricky. Phone torch came in useful! This is a lovely spacious property which was more than ample for our needs. Lounge has comfortable furniture and is tastefully decorated with lovely home decor accessories and a large TV. Good size comfortable bed so slept well. The property is clean and well cared for. Good to have access to a car parking space on the premises. Despite being on the main road we did not find the location noisy. Haz, the owner was very responsive to messages and was very pleasant and friendly. He went out of his way to bring us a cafetiere after I had asked if there was one in the property. The central heating is easy to use and works well so we were warm and cosy for our late November stay.
