Vraiment bien pour des vacances en famille avec nos amis poilus. On a pu visiter plusieurs plages avec eux.

So enjoyed our time at Stuart’s. The property reminded me so much of my grandparents and then mom’s place in Castine, which was so nice because we were there for mom’s memorial. Check in was easy, clear instructions, warning about driveway was definitely helpful, the scenery spectacular, and so nice to have the cool breeze off Northern Bay after driving from NC. Central location meant we could easily get to Castine, Blue Hill, and Bucksport. Northern Bay Market was awesome, the baked goods are NOT to be missed! Blueberry coffee cake, glazed and jelly donuts were phenomenal. If you are there when humidity is low, try to catch her cream puffs, she makes 18, only 3 times a year when the humidity is low. The mosquitoes were wicked, but the wind off the bay helped, and the short walk across the street on the Maine Coast Heritage Trust was nice to get our dog out a bit. Loved reading about the history of the house as well Really enjoyed being there, thanks again Stuart and Lindsay!

A charming house with history and beautiful surroundings, with a few nearby towns to explore. I agree that the pictures do not do the place justice! It has real soul. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs out front every evening, watching the many heron, cormorants and seagulls in the bay. The street did not bother us at all. We brought our pup and he relaxed outside with us on a leash. Out back we saw a family of deer almost every night. We visited Blue Hill, Castine and Brooklin- all so different from one another and I would recommend visiting all three! Stuart was very responsive and it was lovely getting a visit from Bim checked in and helped with the trash. Thank you Stuart for sharing this magical place with us!

It was our first trip to Maine, and we enjoyed Stuart’s home. Everything was just as described. Very quiet and peaceful location if you are looking one. We would recommend to anyone looking for a break from their day to day stress!

The house was charming with a beautiful view. Everything we needed was there. The furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay again.
