We recommend an evening stroll down to the Sunset Square to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets and enjoy an ice cream or a cup of coffee – can be purchased in the Sunset Kiosk. A trip to Grenen, Denmark's outermost tip, where the seas Kattegat and Skagerrak meet, should also make your holiday to-do list. You can get there by foot from Gl. Skagen, along the coast. Skagen town offers a large number of retail shops, artisan workshops, galleries as well as exciting cafés and restaurants. A visit to Skagen’s Museum is also highly recommended. Here you will find the famous paintings by the great Skagen painters Krøyer, Anna Ancher, Michael Ancher, Tuxen, Drachmann, Locher and many more. You can also experience the old dining room from Brøndum’s Hotel at Skagen’s Museum. If you want to have lunch or dinner in a historic setting, a visit to the restaurant at Brøndum’s Hotel is recommended.
